Itinerary Overview

Arrival at Caravan Horse Center

  • 11:00 AM – Arrive and settle into the camp area at the Caravan Horse Center.
  • Meet the hosts and get an introduction to the environment. Enjoy a welcoming coffee or tea.
  • Set up tents, leave your belongings, and prepare for the day’s activities.

Horse-Lead Hiking Experience

  • Activity Start: 11:45 AM
  • Walk alongside a horse, leading it by the rope as you explore the natural surroundings. This therapeutic experience allows for personal reflection, encouraging you to explore your fears, limits, and leadership qualities.
  • The hike lasts about 45 minutes with two designated stops to reflect, observe, and connect with the horse.
  • Return to Center: After the hike, assist in grooming and feeding the horses.

Buggy Adventure Tour: Asim Zeneli to Doftia Lake

  • Tour Start: 2:00 PM
  • Get ready for an exciting 3-hour buggy adventure from Asim Zeneli village to the scenic Doftia Lake.
  • Highlights:
    • Bunker Stop: Pause to learn about Albania’s Cold War bunkers and take some photos.
    • Cini Lake: Admire the views of this artificial reservoir created for irrigation in the 1960s.
    • Doftia Lake: Arrive at the lake for a relaxing picnic, short catch-and-release fishing session, and stories from a local fisherman.
  • Return Journey: Switch drivers and make your way back along scenic trails.

Includes shared buggy with partner or solo option. Max weight per buggy: 150 kg. Valid type B driver’s license required.

Evening Campfire and Film Night

  • Return to Center: 6:00 PM
  • Take a break with coffee, tea, and possibly a shower. Prepare for a relaxing evening.
  • Campfire and Dinner: Enjoy a homemade dinner prepared by a local family and gather around the campfire to watch a film projected under the stars.

Overnight Camp

  • Camp in tents under the open sky, with sleeping bags provided. However, bringing your own sleeping bag is encouraged for added comfort.

Morning Breakfast

  • 8:00 AM – Breakfast at the campsite featuring fresh local products like bread, butter, cheese, honey, eggs, coffee, and tea.

Program End: 10:00 AM

  • 115 Euros per person (based on shared buggy)

Who Should Join

This adventure is designed for individuals in good physical shape with previous outdoor experience. Suitable for children over 12 when accompanied by parents.
