Zagoria off road tour is a rare trip between mountains and mountain valleys, in 70% of it through an unpaved road.

The meeting with the guide will be in Gjirokastra.

We first stop by the Suha River in the narrowest area of the valley near the Selcka gorge. Depending on the season you can bathe in the river, enjoy the waterfall or just spend quiet moments between the rocks and caves and explore the wild nature of the valley.

The lunch stop will be the village of Poliçan in Pogon. It’s a delicious break combining vegetables, meat and dairy products cultivated at 900 m of altitude.

We will further drive through the natural Zagoria park, to stop by the Monastery of Nivan, built on 1702. We will take a short hike to the medieval bridge one of the most important market construction in the area.

Your off road trip will continue in the afternoon towards Çajupi’s valley where we will stop to enjoy the sunset.

The trip back to Gjirokastra follows a windy road that allows a wide view of Drino’s valley, ending in the city.
